HBO Max has published another trailer for the restart of the series “Gossip Girl”. It will premiere on the streaming platform on July 8th.
Teenagers from New York spend their days as usual – choosing the most stylish bow for going to school, having fun at parties and falling in love. But now there is constant gossip behind romantic love stories and attempts to join a new team.
Judging by the previous video, each of them has their own secrets, but Gossip Girl has no plans to hide them. “She’s back and worse than ever,” reads the first trailer.
The Gossip Girl remake will focus on a new generation of Upper East Side teens. The series takes place eight years after the events of the original film, and its main themes will be the social network and life in New York.
The project is led by original Gossip Girl authors Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Key roles are played by Tavi Gevinson, Thomas Doherty, Eli Brown, Jordan Alexander, Emily Elin Lind, Evan Mock, Savannah Smith and Zion Moreno. Gossip Girl’s voice will be voiced again by Kristen Bell.
For the first time “Gossip Girl” appeared on the screens in 2007 and quickly gained popularity. The original plot is based on the novels of the writer Cecily von Siegesar. The project was closed nine years ago.
