In the canton of Ouistreham (Calvados), Frédéric Loinard (66 years old) and Corinne Sourberts (58 years old) are candidates for the departmental elections (June 20 and 27, 2021).
The mayor of Colleville-Montgomery (since 2014) elected since 2008 and the opposition municipal councilor in Bénouville form a “various center” pair. Their replacements are Corinne Rouxel (59 years old) from Ouistreham and Philippe Thieuw (71) living in Mathieu.
“Faced with everyday difficulties”
“The role of a departmental councilor is to be an elected official. The mayor has the same approach to everyday difficulties, ”says Frédéric Loinard to explain his candidacy.
The latter with Corinne Sourberts regrets “a not always obvious implementation of the skills of the department. As we have seen with confinement, the department in Colleville or Ouistreham was not up to the task of deploying the fiber. “
“Many services are ignored”
For the duo, “the department must act as a relay for the mayor. “
Unfortunately many departmental council services are ignored by residents. We must provide answers. For social assistance and disability, better harmonization is needed.
The pair intends to ensure “regular permanence” in the municipalities for housing, “early childhood and youth with the development of nurseries and day nurseries”. Spatial planning, “more responsiveness is needed to secure roads” or broadband are all priorities.
Frédéric Loinard and Corinne Sourbets who also wish to provide everyone with a guide “to find out about possible subsidies. “
