Danish company Cobod International A / S, a specialist in construction 3D printers, recently entered the US market through a partnership with PrintedFarms in Florida, and is now expanding its presence in the United States.
Faced with a serious shortage of affordable housing in the United States, Habitat for Humanity is looking for innovative and affordable solutions for access to housing. Habitat for Humanity decided to use Cobod’s construction 3D printer to print affordable housing in Arizona. The family house has an area of 160 m2. It will be printed with the Cobod Modular Construction 3D Printer, BOD2, in Tempe, Arizona (USA), and was designed by Candelaria Design Associates, LLC.
