LeBron James’ son Bronny James made his first appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine.
James will be featured on the cover of the July issue, appearing alongside members of the popular esports team, FaZe Clan.
James joined FaZe Clan last August, making him the first basketball player still in high school to join the roster. Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons is also a member of the team.
The cover shows Arizona Cardinals and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray playing a video game with a PlayStation controller, while FaZe members Swagg, Rug, Temperrr and NICKMERCS watch with various facial expressions.
Bronny spent a lot of time in the world of esports before joining FaZe, and his interest continues to grow.
LeBron is aware of Bronny’s commitment to the game, and FaZe Banks, one of the founders of FaZe, shared an encounter he had with LeBron, via Rohan Nadkarni of Sports Illustrated:
“And if there was any question whether LeBron knew how long his son invests in video games, Banks says he ‘dapped’ the global megastar when he met him at a party. in Los Angeles earlier this year. ”
Bronny’s first cover is that of an esports athlete, but he has more to come beyond the gaming world as he grows older.
